Job Description
You will work as a change leader in various business development assignments with varying scope and complexity. The organization has a significant need for support in change management, which means you will contribute both operationally and tactically in ongoing projects, programs, and assignments where change needs to be realized and desired effects achieved.
In the assignment, you will lead individuals, groups, and parts of the organization through change, often within the framework of a project or assignment. You are responsible for planning, driving, and implementing the change work, either yourself or through others, and you will work closely with project management, clients, and relevant stakeholders. An important part of the role is to be clear about responsibility distribution and deliverables related to change management.
You will support managers, leadership, and the organization in driving change work forward by developing and anchoring materials such as overarching change plans, impact analyses, and stakeholder mappings. You will lead and steer the change process, carry out operational activities, and collaborate with the communications function when needed.
The assignment also involves planning and conducting presentations, workshops, and other initiatives to strengthen the organization’s capability in change management and contribute to increased knowledge, understanding, and competence within the organization. The work spans strategic, tactical, and operational levels and requires a holistic perspective on change that encompasses people, processes, and IT support.
Examples of Tasks
- Support to clients, managers, leadership, and the organization in driving change work to achieve identified effects
- Planning and development of materials such as overarching change plans, impact analyses, and stakeholder mappings
- Leadership and management of the change process, including the execution of operational activities
- Close collaboration with program, project, or assignment management as well as the communications function when involved
- Conducting presentations, workshops, and other initiatives to strengthen the organization’s competence in change management
Mandatory Requirements
- At least 8 years of dedicated experience working as a change leader in projects or assignments. The experience must include the development of change plans, stakeholder analyses, communication plans, and the execution of change activities
- At least 5 years of experience as a change leader driving tactical and operational change work within complex initiatives in organizations experiencing strong growth. Complex initiatives refer to assignments where the change has affected multiple business areas and impacted people, processes, and IT support
- At least 5 years of experience working as a change leader in assignments focusing on IT and/or digitalization initiatives
- At least 5 years of experience planning and conducting workshops related to business development
- Certification in established change management methodology (e.g., ADKAR) and at least 3 years of practical experience working according to the methodology
Desirable Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience translating business plans and strategic governing documents into concrete materials that support change
- At least 5 years of experience handling issues at strategic, tactical, and operational levels
- At least 3 years of experience working in cross-functional teams
